This pro-quality oil seal puller set features (3) interchangeable puller tips to accommodate a wide range of seal sizes. The wide tip footprint allows for easy seal removal without damaging engine cases or wheel hubs.
Machined from heat-treated 6061-T6 billet aluminum for superior strength and durability, the handle is knurled to ensure a secure grip and leverage. The blue anodized finish adds a distinctive touch.
The puller tips are easily interchanged by removing the socket head screw from the end of the handle and refitting once the appropriately-sized puller tip is selected for the oil seal size. The profile of the tip offers a mechanical advantage over the traditional method of using a screwdriver to prise out the seal.
The spindle or shaft that is being sealed must be removed to expose the oil seal, allowing the puller tip to be engage with the inner lip of the seal. Once the tip is located, the puller tip is levered upwards to dislodge the seal.
